Indoor cycling is enormously popular these days, with Peloton leading the charge with getting a bike into every home. But even after its earlier this year, the cost of a Peloton is steep and plenty of alternatives offer a lower price tag and sometimes even more features. While you can find workout gyms and spin studios practically anywhere, there's a lot to be said for the convenience of working out on your own schedule, without needing to go somewhere other than your living room.

But do you really have to shell out $1,495 for a Peloton Bike or $2,495 for a Bike Plus, service ac along with $39 a month for Peloton workout classes? Thankfully, no. There are plenty of indoor bikes that will let you pedal away at a much lower cost. Below I've rounded up a variety of Peloton alternatives, including one that's "free" (sort of).
